I was sitting here today berating myself for not posting for such a long period of time. I stared at the screen in front of me, trying in vain to come up with an idea for a post. Then I gave up and dawdled around on the internet for four hours. Upon glancing at the clock, I was horrified that so much time had slipped past without me noticing. ”What the hell have I been doing for four hours?”, I asked myself. I pulled up my history and was presented with the story of not only the last four hours, but essentially the last few years of my life. And so I give you “the Five Sites I Visit Everyday”
1.) Facebook: Facebook is nearing 1 billion users. That’s one seventh of the population. HOLY COW! Do I wonder why? Nope. Not even a little bit. Facebook lets you connect with your family, friends, acquaintances, former flings and even your kindergarten teacher. It also lets you learn WAY too much about the people you care about (or used to care about). Is Facebook an evil faceless corporation? Maybe. Is it helping to destroy the way humans have interacted for centuries (by, you know, talking to each other face to face)? Quite possibly. Am I going to stop using it anytime soon? Absolutely not.
2.) Pinterest: ERMAGHERD PINTEREST! That about sums up how I feel about everyone’s favorite online pin board. I cannot get enough Pinterest. Crafts, recipes, celebrities and so much geek love! I find it hard not to go an entire conversation without saying “I saw this one thing on Pinterest…”
3) The Internet Movie Database: Because if I don’t know trivia for every episode of every TV show and movie I’ve seen, I’ve failed at life. Also, because it answers the timeless question “Where have I seen that guy before?”
4.) The Cheezburger Network: I’m pretty sure I’m approaching years of my life spent on this site. Years, people. This is where funny lives on the internet. My favorite sites are ROFL Razzi, Set Phasers to LOL, Failbook and Superheroes. Trust me, no matter what your interests are, you will find something to make you LOL.
5.) Hyperbole and a Half: Because maybe, just maybe, if I’m diligent and check everyday, she’ll update her site. Or at least let us know when the book is going to be released.

Right? Regarding Hyperbole and a half?? Miss her and seriously hope she’s okay. Her last post was hilarious but concerning.
